This leading UK Electrical Retailer faced significant challenges, both within its supply chain and it’s front office operations. Initial diagnostics highlighted the key issues within its returns processing and it’s pick and pack warehousing operations. This also highlighted that the store delivery and returns processes were incompatible with the effective running of its stores

Our approach was to structure all issues in to deployable projects and instead of delivering these; we chose to support the business by building capability within their organisation through delivery and the execution of these projects. We led the deployment of Lean Six Sigma across the UK Supply Chain and later in to the back and front office operations. Benefits of £5m were achieved within an initial 9-month period, which grew to £30m in the following 18 months. In line with our approach, we trained and coached 20 Black Belts and over 50 Green Belts through to certification as well as structuring and executing the deployment.
