The client had significant issues within both its core operations and supply chain processes, as well as facing increasing costs and extended lead times. In parallel the organisation was facing compounded public and government pressure to cut both its prices and investment reserves. Our engagement was focused on core specific issues where improvement would have a substantial impact on the cost base.
Our approach was to develop capability through execution and we drove Lean Six Sigma skill through the delivery of key projects. Over £2m of benefits was delivered in a six month period whilst simultaneously developing a pipeline of further projects and autonomous internal Lean Six Sigma capability that could drive these forward. This value based approach resulted in a number of referrals and the development of partnerships within the industry.
